(er, make that the other way around)

This is Chuck, my son. Good
looking kid, eh? He does web page design, computer art,
and TCP/IP network configuration and administration. He
was the master nethead (both intra- and inter-) for an
ISP startup in the Silicon Valley area until their
financing failed; now he's working for Silicon Graphics. Chuck's web page |

This is Geri Hanrahan. She is a first cousin on my dad's side. Geri is a real estate agent in the Palo Alto California area. (That's near Stanford, more or less at the north end of the Silicon Valley, for those who aren't clear on local geography.) This photo is from her agency's web site. |
David Barber is my second-longest-known friend with whom I'm in regular touch.
Be sure to check out his San Diego Tall Singles Web Surfing page (containing links to all sorts of interesting places on the net), and the essay "Women on the Edge," written by Bob Forsyth and posted here by David. David is one of the most interesting people I know; he is always thinking and has different ways of looking at things than most folks; I often disagree with what he says, but he always makes me think about it. David also has a "links to friends' pages" page and many of his friends are folks I know too.
Dawn Devine Brown -- Dawn Devine when I met her -- is one of the more intriguing and unusual people I know. She recently returned to San Diego for a brief time during the '96 Comics Convention and I got to go out dancing with her again.
I think I need to get more of my friends on the net...
